Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.

• 5+ years experience as a CNC Mill Machinist - preference doing Set-Ups and working with A-Axis Rotary Tables, Okuma Controls

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T

• Understanding of standard CNC G-Codes

• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

You should be proficient in:

• CNC Programming

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Okuma)
