Ecommerce Logistics Coordinator Location Marietta, GA :

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-Commerce Logistics Coordinator to oversee our supply chain operations, manage our 3PL relationship, and drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in optimizing 3PL ecommerce processes, driving growth, enhancing customer experience, performance marketing, conversion optimization, and Shopify e-commerce platforms. This role requires a blend of analytical skills and creative thinking to drive traffic, improve user experience, and ultimately increase sales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Management:

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, and returns.
  • Coordinate daily operations with the 3PL to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and implement demand planning and forecasting strategies to optimize inventory levels.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze logistics KPIs such as order accuracy, shipping time, and inventory turnover.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for order processing, fulfillment, and shipping performance.
  • Proficiency with Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros) or Google Sheets.

3. Systems & Technology:

  • Oversee and optimize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) integrations.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration between e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and 3PL systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP or OMS software for coordinating supply chain operations.

4. Inventory Management:

  • Oversee cycle counting, demand forecasting, safety stock calculations, and inventory accuracy audits.
  • Coordinate with the 3PL to minimize shrinkage and discrepancies.
  • Develop inventory replenishment strategies in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.

5. Vendor & 3PL Management:

  • Negotiate contracts, service levels, and pricing with 3PL partners.
  • Hold 3PL accountable through KPIs, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and continuous improvement plans.
  • Foster relationships with carriers, suppliers, and vendors.

6. Cost Management & Budgeting:

  • Manage freight costs, packaging costs, and 3PL billing structures.
  • Develop and manage logistics budgets and implement cost reduction strategies.

7. Problem Solving & Crisis Management:

  • Address issues such as lost packages, damaged goods, shipping delays, and customer complaints.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

8. Communication & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer service, and finance teams.
  • Communicate logistics plans and operational changes to internal teams and 3PL partners.

9. Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on safety and environmental regulations.

10. Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead and develop any internal logistics staff.
  • Coach and mentor team members on logistics best practices.
  • Scale processes to support business growth.
  • Works closely with the Warehouse Coordinator to maintain accurate inventory data and facilitate smooth transitions between HQ and the 3PL.

11. Financial Management:

  • Budget third-party vendor expenses and track them with the finance team.
  • Analyze and optimize operational costs
  • Manage pricing strategies and promotional activities and work closely with the external CPA & Federal Tax Law Firm.

Must Have Skills (Non-Negotiable):

  • Lean/Six Sigma knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience with reverse logistics (returns and exchanges).
  • Tracks shipments, resolves any logistical issues, and ensures timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners to facilitate freight movement.
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking inventory and equipment status.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and order statuses.
  • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve logistical issues.
  • Manages the first-mile and middle-mile transportation of goods, coordinating inbound shipments from suppliers and ensuring efficient handover to the 3PL.
  • Collaborates with the 3PL to optimize transportation routes, modes, and costs.
  • Experience with planning systems or WMS tools.
  • 5 years of familiarity with eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
  • Experience managing 3PL relationships and e-commerce fulfillment operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with WMS, TMS, ERP, or OMS software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail in both design and user experience aspects of e-commerce platforms.
  • Ability to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce management.
  • Advanced Shopify and 3PL Experience.
  • Familiarity with international e-commerce operations and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with multiple ecommerce platforms and integrations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
