Schedule: Primarily 3 outpatient clinic days per week between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday with occasional weeks in the hospital (three 8-hour shifts) Mon – Sun. Candidates must be passionate about meeting patients' health needs, and they must have demonstrated proficiency in comprehensive assessment, care planning, symptom management, problem solving and interdisciplinary teamwork. The Palliative Care Physician will work with members of interdisciplinary teams, collaborating daily with palliative care physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs, social workers, chaplains, pharmacists, rehabilitation therapists and other providers. The Palliative Care Physician will practice in accordance with the applicable scope and standards of practice and within the policies, values, and mission of the Saint Alphonsus Health System.
