**Industrial Electrician - Waterloo Area** **Location:** Waterloo, Iowa **Shifts Available:** + Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM + Wednesday-Saturday: 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM + _(All candidates will train on 1st shift for 30-60 days)_ **Position Overview** We are seeking an experienced **Industrial Electrician** to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with PLCs, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** + Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures. + Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including wiring, motors, sensors, and PLCs. + Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery. + Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. + Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations. + Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve system performance and reduce downtime. + Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections. + Recommend and implement improvements for energy efficiency and reliability. **Qualifications** + Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical experience. + Proficient in troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and 3-phase electrical systems. + Experience with PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, motor starters, control panels, and industrial sensors. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Familiarity with up to 480V wiring. + Journeyman's license or relevant certification preferred. + Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. **Additional Skills** + Experience with solar and low-voltage electrical maintenance is a plus. **Why Join Us?** + **Quarterly performance bonuses** . + **112 PTO hours** accrued in the first year. + Comprehensive benefits: health, vision, dental, and insurance options. + **401(k) plan** and biweekly pay. + Access to a **free on-campus gym and health clinic** for you and your family. + A supportive work culture that values growth and development. **Work Environment** + Onsite at in Waterloo. + Fast-paced industrial setting with seasonal temperature variations and moderate noise levels. **Ready to take the next step in your career?
