Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager II (SSM II), Administrative and Office Support Services within the Office of Administrative Services (OAS), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is the Executive Support to the State Chief Information Officer (State CIO) and California Department of Technology (CDT) Director. The incumbent provides administrative consultative, analytical, and technical support and may assist the CDT Chief Deputies and Executive Management, when needed. The AGPA researches and makes recommendations to sensitive departmental program issues/inquires and enables the Director to effectively execute their responsibilities by delivering high-quality, efficient, and timely support across a broad range of functions. This includes performing complex and varied analytical and technical tasks with minimal supervision, encompassing personnel, fiscal and budgeting processes, process improvement recommendations, report and dashboard development, IT acquisitions and contracts, and project tracking to ensure operational excellence and informed decision-making.
